T'IS THE SEASON

I am not jolly just yet. Actually seeing Xmas decorations getting put up already makes me wonder where the year has gone. Well its not over yet and so far BigEyedDeer has helped produce four commercials, three short films, two corporate videos and a partridge in a pear tree. We are just getting warmed up for a sizzling summer, I hope. The plan is still very much to create a unique entity; a network of friends, colleagues and affiliates who can be called on in times of need. We still aim to redefine the barriers to entry of young filmmakers in this country. We don't know how just yet but two heads are better than one. Once we have a few scripts to band around we are going to raise funds to produce our own features or those of others who have similar aspirations. But for now we will trawl the Cape for low hanging fruit, commercial work to pay the bills. Please keep corresponding and help us build this site up.
